Used Winnebago RVs for Sale: Prices, Models & 2026 Values
Winnebago is the name Americans say when they mean 'motorhome,' and it has been building them in Forest City, Iowa since 1958. The modern company spans camper vans to Class A coaches (plus towables), with a reputation for stout construction — the brand's e-coated steel SuperStructure and interlocking joints hold up better than much of the industry.
On the used market Winnebago motorized products are the liquid, known quantity: service documentation is usually findable, parts support is excellent, and resale is steady. That makes a used View, Vista, or Revel one of the safer first motorhome purchases — condition and chassis miles, not brand risk, are what you're evaluating.

Revel (19' 4x4 Class B)

View / Navion (25' diesel Class C)
$95,000–$150,000 usedSprinter-chassis Class C with slide-outs and 15–18 mpg. The couples' favorite for long trips; late-model used ones stay in demand.
Vista / Sunstar (27–33' gas Class A)
$60,000–$120,000 usedFord F-53 gas Class A with family floorplans and bunk options. The value play in the lineup — gas Class As depreciate fastest, which favors used buyers.

View detailsBuying a used Winnebago: what to check
- On motorized units the chassis is half the purchase: get Mercedes/Ford service records, check mileage against age (very low miles can mean years of sitting — its own problem), and budget for tires by date code, not tread
- Water intrusion kills motorhomes too — check every roof seam, marker light, and slide topper, and run your hand along interior ceiling edges for ripples or staining
- Run EVERY system on shore power, battery, and generator before buying: roof AC, furnace, fridge on both modes, slides, leveling jacks, and the water pump
- Winnebago's build records are searchable by VIN through dealers — pull the original build sheet to verify options and catch title mismatches
Frequently asked questions
Is an older low-mile motorhome a good buy?
Sometimes — but RVs deteriorate from sitting as much as from driving. Dry-rotted tires, varnished fuel, and dried seals are common on 'barn find' units. A 10-year-old coach with 60k documented highway miles is often a better bet than one with 12k.
Gas or diesel Class A?
Gas costs less to buy and maintain locally; diesel rides better, tows more, lasts longer, and resells higher. For occasional trips under 5k miles/year, gas is the value play; for full-timing or mountain miles, diesel earns its premium.
How many miles is 'a lot' for a used RV?
Sprinter diesels are proven well past 250k with maintenance; Ford gas V8/V10 chassis routinely see 150k–200k. The coach house usually ages out before a maintained chassis does — judge the whole unit, not the odometer alone.
