Dutchmen Manufacturing began building travel trailers in Goshen, Indiana in 1988 and was one of Thor Industries' earliest acquisitions, in 1991; today it operates as part of Keystone. The lineup is towables only: Kodiak and Aspen Trail travel trailers, the Astoria fifth wheel and travel trailer, and the Coleman-branded trailers sold through Camping World, which Dutchmen builds.
That Coleman connection is the thing to understand on the used market. A 'Coleman' trailer from 2017 onward is a Dutchmen (or Keystone) product built to Camping World's price point, and it is one of the most common entry-level trailers in the country. Kodiak sits a tier up and holds value better; Astoria is the mid-range fifth wheel that competes with Cougar and Grand Design Reflection.
