Thor Motor Coach was formed in 2010 when Thor Industries merged its Four Winds International and Damon Motor Coach divisions, and it has been the largest motorhome builder in North America for most of the years since. Every rig carries a chassis from someone else — Ford E-450 and F-53, Chevrolet, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, Freightliner — and Thor builds the house on top in Elkhart and Bristol, Indiana.
