Buyer questions
Eight questions buyers ask about the Forest River IBEX 20FKDS Beast Mode, answered from the RVs listed on US RV Connection right now.
Right now US RV Connection shows 3 approved, priced IBEX 20FKDS Beast Mode travel trailers asking between $32,993 and $41,999, with a median asking price of $41,977. Those are asking prices set by sellers, not confirmed sale prices. All three listings include photos, so you can see condition and layout before you call. With only three units live, the spread reflects differences in options more than anything else.
Every IBEX 20FKDS Beast Mode currently listed on US RV Connection is a 2027 model, so all three units come from the same model year. There are no older years in the mix at the moment. One listing describes it as the 2027 Forest River IBEX 20FKDS, Front Kitchen Double Slide. If you want an earlier year, nothing like that is showing in the current inventory.
All listings are the 20FKDS front kitchen travel trailer floorplan. The descriptions mention a front kitchen with ample counter space, a countertop with two stools, a kitchen pantry, a walk-thru bathroom and a private queen bedroom. Slide counts and lengths vary slightly by listing: one is described at 25 feet 6 inches sleeping 2 with one slide, another at 27 feet 7 inches sleeping 4 with one slide.
These are all 2027 units, so expect near-new condition, but still inspect carefully. Check the roof, seams and slide seals for leaks, and run the slide fully in and out. Test the listed gear that adds value: the 400W solar package, 50 amp service, Maxxair vent, central vac, microwave/air fryer and theater seats. Confirm the spare tire is present, check tire date codes, and verify water heater, furnace and plumbing all work.
From the listed descriptions: the Beast Mode upgrade package, theater seats with trays, a Maxxair vent and cover, 50 amp service and a 400W solar package. Inside there is a front kitchen, central vac system, counter with two stools, kitchen pantry, microwave/air fryer, walk-thru bathroom and a private queen bedroom. One listing also notes Azdel composite sidewalls, an aluminum frame, an awning, solid surface entry steps, extended season ready build and a spare tire.
The listings point that way. One dealer describes the 2027 20FKDS as designed for couples who want extended-stay comfort in a manageable towable length, at 25 feet 6 inches and sleeping 2. The private queen bedroom, front panoramic kitchen with counter and two stools, theater seats and walk-thru bath all fit two people living in it. Another listing shows a 27 foot 7 inch version sleeping 4, so check the specific unit.
US RV Connection currently shows three IBEX 20FKDS Beast Mode travel trailers, each in a different state: one in Haltom City, Texas, one in Lima, Ohio, and one in West Point, Virginia. All three have photos. Because inventory is thin and spread across the country, be prepared to look outside your immediate area or wait for a closer unit to be listed.
On price, the IBEX 20FKDS Beast Mode sits higher: $32,993 to $41,999 asking, median $41,977, all 2027 units. The Cherokee Grey Wolf 26SS shows 7 listings from $21,985 to $31,777, median $28,911, in 2025 to 2027. The Cherokee Wolf Pup 17JW has 9 listings from $18,991 to $26,998, median $23,988, years 2026 to 2027. We don't have side-by-side spec comparisons, so judge each by its own listing details.
